Preflight
The pre-launch checklist, run against any URL

Any public site. Private and internal addresses are refused, on the first request and on every redirect after it.

Twenty four checks across four groups, run against the live page in a couple of seconds. Nothing is stored: the report exists in your browser and nowhere else.

  • Certificate validity and expiry
  • HTTP to HTTPS redirect
  • Redirect chain length
  • www consistency
  • HSTS and response time

Crawlability

  • Leftover noindex
  • robots.txt
  • Sitemap
  • Canonical tag

Page basics

  • Title and meta description
  • Heading structure
  • Mobile viewport
  • Social sharing tags
  • Structured data

Hygiene

  • Mixed content
  • Image alt coverage
  • HTML weight
  • Analytics and tracking tags
The one that matters most is the noindex check. A staging site tells search engines to stay away. When that setting ships to production nothing looks broken, the page loads perfectly, and the traffic simply never arrives. It is the most expensive launch mistake there is, and the easiest to miss.
